Cockroach Janta Party Defies Govt Order, Protests at Jantar Mantar

CJP has vowed to continue its protest at Jantar Mantar, defying a government order denotifying the site as a designated protest venue. Volunteers breached barricades to enter the site on Tuesday, leading to the detention of party leader Ashutosh Ranka and others by Delhi Police. Ranka stated that the protest would persist until Gyanesh Kumar resigns, asserting they are unafraid of the denotification. The government had previously announced Jantar Mantar's removal as a protest site, shifting demonstrations to Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground.

CJP ने जंतर मंतर पर अपना विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रखने की कसम खाई है, सरकारी आदेश को धता बताते हुए जिसने इस स्थल को विरोध के लिए नामित स्थल के रूप में हटा दिया था। मंगलवार को स्वयंसेवकों ने बैरिकेड्स तोड़कर स्थल में प्रवेश किया, जिसके बाद दिल्ली पुलिस ने पार्टी नेता आशुतोष रांका और अन्य को हिरासत में ले लिया। रांका ने कहा कि ज्ञानचंद कुमार के इस्तीफे तक विरोध जारी रहेगा, और उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि वे इस डीनोटिफिकेशन से डरते नहीं हैं। सरकार ने पहले जंतर मंतर को विरोध स्थल के रूप में हटाने और प्रदर्शनों को रामलीला मैदान, बुराड़ी ग्राउंड और सीबीडी ग्राउंड में स्थानांतरित करने की घोषणा की थी।
