New MRI Model Detects Liver Cancer Types

A novel MRI diagnostic model has been developed that effectively differentiates scirrhous hepatocellular carcinoma (SHCC) from intrahepatic mass-forming cholangiocarcinoma (IMCC). This model integrates serum biomarkers with specific magnetic resonance imaging features. It shows promise in accurately distinguishing these two types of liver cancer in patients affected by hepatitis B virus. Early and accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment planning and improving patient outcomes.
