Red Sanders Smuggler Shot, Arrested in Kadapa

Kadapa police arrested notorious red sanders smuggler Simpathi Jakeer, 32, who has 99 cases against him, including 82 for red sanders smuggling. Jakeer has a history of violently attacking police. During his apprehension in Duvvur mandal, he attempted to stab an officer. A Sub Inspector fired two shots in the air and one at Jakeer's leg, injuring him. A constable also sustained a stab wound.

कडप्पा पुलिस ने 32 साल के कुख्यात चंदन तस्कर सिम्पाथी जकीर को गिरफ्तार किया है, जिसके खिलाफ 99 मामले दर्ज हैं, जिनमें से 82 चंदन की तस्करी से जुड़े हैं। जकीर का पुलिस पर हिंसक हमला करने का इतिहास रहा है। दुव्वूर मंडल में पकड़े जाने के दौरान उसने एक अधिकारी पर चाकू से हमला करने की कोशिश की। एक सब-इंस्पेक्टर ने हवा में दो गोलियां चलाईं और एक जकीर के पैर में मारी, जिससे वह घायल हो गया। एक कांस्टेबल को भी चाकू लगा।
