Geeta Devi, a resident of Garhwa block in Chapra, faced extreme poverty after her husband's death, often struggling to feed her children. She took on domestic work and odd jobs to survive, sometimes going hungry with her children. Her life changed when she joined the 'Jeevika' program, which provided her with training and a vegetable stall. With initial earnings, she bought an auto-rickshaw, later upgrading to a larger vehicle.
