Two Held For Illegally Selling Foreign Cigarettes At Bengaluru Airport Parking

Two individuals, Aadil Abdul and Harunbhai Mansuri, were apprehended for the illicit sale of foreign-made cigarettes in the parking area of Kempegowda International Airport's Terminal 2. The arrests occurred on October 30 following an informant's tip to a head constable during a patrol. A case has been registered under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (Cotpa). Investigations are ongoing to uncover a larger smuggling syndicate involved in this operation.

केम्पेगौडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट के टर्मिनल 2 के पार्किंग एरिया में विदेशी सिगरेट की अवैध बिक्री के आरोप में आदिल अब्दुल और हारूनभाई मंसूरी नाम के दो लोगों को पकड़ा गया है। यह गिरफ्तारी 30 अक्टूबर को एक मुखबिर की सूचना पर हुई थी, जब एक हेड कांस्टेबल गश्त पर था। सिगरेट और अन्य तंबाकू उत्पाद अधिनियम (Cotpa) के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। इस ऑपरेशन में शामिल बड़े तस्करी सिंडिकेट का पता लगाने के लिए जांच चल रही है।
