Delhi Flyover Spaces Get Themed Makeover With Wildlife, Yoga, Science

Spaces beneath Delhi's flyovers are undergoing a thematic transformation, with projects ranging from a wildlife-themed area at Chirag Dilli to a science corner at IIT Delhi and a yogshala under the Punjabi Bagh flyover. The Public Works Department (PWD) is redeveloping these locations, selecting themes based on their surroundings. Under an MoU, five flyovers and a stretch of Aurobindo Marg will be redeveloped and maintained for three years, featuring art installations, fountains, and sitting areas. This initiative aims to beautify urban spaces and create functional areas for public use.

दिल्ली के फ्लाईओवर के नीचे की जगहों को थीम के अनुसार बदला जा रहा है। चिराग दिल्ली में वन्यजीवों की थीम वाली जगह, IIT दिल्ली में विज्ञान कॉर्नर और पंजाबी बाग फ्लाईओवर के नीचे योगशाला बनाई जा रही है। लोक निर्माण विभाग (PWD) इन जगहों को आसपास के माहौल के हिसाब से थीम चुनकर नया रूप दे रहा है। एक MoU के तहत, पांच फ्लाईओवर और औरोबिंदो मार्ग के एक हिस्से को तीन साल के लिए नया बनाया जाएगा और उसकी देखभाल की जाएगी। इसमें कला, फव्वारे और बैठने की जगहें होंगी। इस पहल का मकसद शहरी जगहों को सुंदर बनाना और लोगों के इस्तेमाल के लिए उपयोगी जगहें तैयार करना है।
