Doctors Correct Rare Combination Of Infant Defects

Doctors in Delhi have successfully performed a complex surgery on a seven-month-old infant from Myanmar, correcting a rare combination of congenital defects. The infant suffered from heart abnormalities, including a hole between heart chambers and a persistent blood vessel, alongside diaphragm eventration and a chest-wall deformity. This rare combination required a multidisciplinary approach, with surgeons addressing all three issues during a six- to seven-hour operation.

दिल्ली के डॉक्टरों ने म्यांमार के सात महीने के एक बच्चे का सफल ऑपरेशन किया है। बच्चे के दिल में छेद और एक नस की समस्या थी, साथ ही डायाफ्राम और छाती की दीवार में भी दिक्कत थी। यह दुर्लभ बीमारी थी। डॉक्टरों ने छह-सात घंटे की लंबी सर्जरी में इन तीनों समस्याओं को ठीक कर दिया।
