Andhra Pradesh reported 41 election-related incidents across the state during the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections on Sunday. These incidents occurred in Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, and 17 other districts. Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone involved in poll violence or unlawful activities. The police utilized technology, including drones and body-worn cameras, to monitor the elections and ensure a peaceful process. Despite minor issues, the elections for 92 ULBs, including municipal corporations and municipalities, were largely conducted smoothly.

रविवार को शहरी स्थानीय निकाय (ULB) चुनावों के दौरान आंध्र प्रदेश में पूरे राज्य में 41 चुनाव संबंधी घटनाएं दर्ज की गईं। ये घटनाएं अनंतपुर, कडपा, कुरनूल और 17 अन्य जिलों में हुईं। पुलिस महानिदेशक हरीश कुमार गुप्ता ने चेतावनी दी कि चुनाव हिंसा या अवैध गतिविधियों में शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पुलिस ने चुनावों की निगरानी करने और शांतिपूर्ण प्रक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ड्रोन और बॉडी-वॉर्न कैमरों सहित तकनीक का इस्तेमाल किया। छोटी-मोटी समस्याओं के बावजूद, नगर निगमों और नगर पालिकाओं सहित 92 ULB के लिए चुनाव काफी हद तक सुचारू रूप से संपन्न हुए।
