Bharat Biotech's Nucelion Therapeutics has partnered with Pandorum Technologies to advance two government-backed ophthalmology programs. These programs utilize designer exosomes for treating advanced keratopathy and wet age-related macular degeneration. Pandorum secured support under the Promotion of Research and Innovation in Pharma-MedTech Sector scheme, with a planned outlay of ₹16.97 crore. Nucelion will support process development and manufacturing for these investigational therapies, aiming to supply Good Manufacturing Practices material for clinical studies. The collaboration seeks to develop regenerative medicines for tissue repair and address inflammation and vascular disease processes.
