Grain and milled product shipments to Greater Odessa ports have seen a significant decline, falling by 84% in early August. Statistics reveal that in the first five days of August, only 182,000 tons of grain were transported by rail. This figure represents a 44.1% decrease compared to the same period in July, indicating a severe disruption in the region's grain export capabilities.
