Jharkhand Man Jailed in UAE for Four Months; Family Seeks Govt Help

A 23-year-old man from Jharkhand's Palamu district has been imprisoned in the UAE for four months after leaving his job without proper notice and paying an agent to return home. His father reported that his son, Shashi Kumar Paswan, went to Dubai in 2025 for work and wished to attend his sister's wedding. He was allegedly trapped by an agent after paying him to facilitate his return. Shashi's wife has also appealed for legal assistance and his safe return. The Palamu police have forwarded the application to higher authorities.

झारखंड के पलामू जिले का 23 वर्षीय युवक UAE में चार महीने से जेल में है। उसने बिना बताए नौकरी छोड़ दी थी और घर लौटने के लिए एक एजेंट को पैसे दिए थे। उसके पिता ने बताया कि उनका बेटा शशि कुमार पासवान 2025 में काम के लिए दुबई गया था और अपनी बहन की शादी में शामिल होना चाहता था। घर लौटने की सुविधा के लिए पैसे देने के बाद उसे कथित तौर पर एक एजेंट ने फंसाया था। शशि की पत्नी ने भी कानूनी मदद और उसकी सुरक्षित वापसी की अपील की है। पलामू पुलिस ने आवेदन को उच्च अधिकारियों को भेज दिया है।
