240 Students From 6 Border Districts Gather For Uttarakhand Science Fest

A total of 240 students from six border districts of Uttarakhand are participating in the fifth state-level Children’s Science Festival in Bageshwar. The event, organized by UCOST, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He announced plans for a ‘Lab on Wheels’ in every development block and science centers in all districts, along with Rs 1 crore to promote research. The festival features scientific models, quizzes, and plays, with a central theme linking climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.

उत्तराखंड विज्ञान महोत्सव में 6 सीमावर्ती जिलों के 240 छात्र जुटे

उत्तराखंड के छह सीमावर्ती जिलों के कुल 240 छात्र बागेश्वर में पांचवें राज्य स्तरीय बाल विज्ञान महोत्सव में भाग ले रहे हैं। UCOST द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने किया। उन्होंने हर विकास खंड में 'लैब ऑन व्हील्स' और सभी जिलों में विज्ञान केंद्र स्थापित करने की योजना की घोषणा की, साथ ही अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 1 करोड़ रुपये देने का भी ऐलान किया। महोत्सव में वैज्ञानिक मॉडल, प्रश्नोत्तरी और नाटक शामिल हैं, जिसका मुख्य विषय जलवायु परिवर्तन अनुकूलन और आपदा जोखिम प्रबंधन को जोड़ना है।
