Cancer Drug Prices To Fall By Up To 70% From November 9

Prices of 137 non-scheduled anti-cancer drugs will be reduced by up to 70% starting November 9, following the government's decision to cap trade margins at 30%. NPPA notified the price reduction, which also includes patented drugs, to address excessive trade margins. This move was prompted by the Supreme Court flagging significant price discrepancies between the cost to retailers and the final MRP for patients.
