Speaking at the inauguration of a Khadi fair in Vijayawada, he recalled Mahatma Gandhi's Swadeshi movement and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Local for Vocal" initiative. Party leaders emphasized the potential of Andhra Pradesh's handloom and handicraft sectors, appealing for increased patronage of handloom products. The event aimed to promote Swadeshi ideals and boost the visibility of Khadi.
