Delhi Govt Urges Citizens to Use Green Crackers Only During Diwali

The Delhi government has urged citizens to adhere to Supreme Court directives regarding the use of certified green firecrackers during Diwali. Bursting of green crackers is permitted only on November 7 and 8, between 6 am and 7 am, and 8 pm and 10 pm. Sale and use are restricted to designated locations, with online sales and sales from unauthorised places strictly prohibited. Firecrackers are also banned within 300 metres of hospitals, nursing homes, and educational institutions. Enforcement teams will monitor compliance to prevent violations.

दिल्ली सरकार ने नागरिकों से दिवाली के दौरान सर्टिफाइड ग्रीन पटाखों के इस्तेमाल को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देशों का पालन करने की अपील की है। ग्रीन पटाखों को केवल 7 और 8 नवंबर को सुबह 6 बजे से 7 बजे तक, और रात 8 बजे से 10 बजे तक फोड़ने की अनुमति है। इनकी बिक्री और इस्तेमाल केवल निर्धारित स्थानों पर ही किया जा सकता है, और ऑनलाइन बिक्री तथा अनधिकृत स्थानों से बिक्री पर सख़्ती से रोक लगा दी गई है। अस्पतालों, नर्सिंग होम और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के 300 मीटर के दायरे में भी पटाखों पर प्रतिबंध है। उल्लंघन को रोकने के लिए प्रवर्तन दल अनुपालन की निगरानी करेंगे।
