Rising Indian shuttler Isharani Baruah has advanced to the women's singles final of the Vietnam Open Super 100 tournament. She defeated compatriot Rakshitha Sree Santhosh Ramraj in straight games, winning 21-10, 21-18 in their semifinal match. However, top seed Tanvi Sharma's campaign ended in the other semifinal, losing to Thailand's Sarunrak Vitidsarn. In the men's singles, HS Prannoy was also eliminated in the semifinals.
