A Delaware court has ordered singer Faith Evans to pay over $12.5 million from Notorious B.I.G. LLC to a trust established by the late rapper's mother, Voletta Wallace. The ruling stems from a legal dispute over music business distributions made after Wallace's death in February 2025. Evans's management had argued the trust was only entitled to distributions after formally becoming a member in December 2025. However, the court sided with the trust, stating Wallace's financial rights passed to it immediately upon her death, entitling it to earlier payments.
