Woman Constable Duped of ₹24 Lakh on Promise of Govt Jobs for Sons

A woman constable in Lucknow has been defrauded of ₹24.45 lakh by fraudsters who promised government clerical jobs for her two sons. The victim, Shashibala, transferred the money between June 10 and to an account provided by the accused, who identified himself as Jitendra Gautam. When the jobs did not materialise, she was threatened by another accused posing as a stenographer. She has filed an FIR against three individuals at the Cybercrime Police Station.

लखनऊ की एक महिला सिपाही से ठगों ने उसके दो बेटों के लिए सरकारी क्लर्क की नौकरी दिलाने का वादा करके 24.45 लाख रुपये ठग लिए। पीड़ित शशीबाला ने 10 जून से आरोपियों द्वारा बताए गए एक खाते में पैसे ट्रांसफर किए थे, जिसने खुद को जितेंद्र गौतम बताया था। जब नौकरी नहीं मिली, तो एक अन्य आरोपी ने स्टेनो बनकर उसे धमकी दी। उसने साइबर क्राइम पुलिस स्टेशन में तीन लोगों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कराई है।
