362 Tonnes Pakistani Dates Seized In Maharashtra

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized over 362 metric tonnes of dry dates of Pakistani origin in Maharashtra. The dates were imported by a Mumbai-based company and falsely declared as originating from the UAE. DRI investigations revealed the consignment was routed from Karachi, Pakistan, through Jebel Ali in the UAE before being shipped to India. This operation, part of 'Operation Deep Manifest', targets attempts to bypass the ban on Pakistani goods.

महाराष्ट्र में डायरेक्टरेट ऑफ रेवेन्यू इंटेलिजेंस (DRI) ने पाकिस्तान से आए 362 मीट्रिक टन से ज़्यादा खजूर जब्त किए हैं। मुंबई की एक कंपनी ने इन्हें यूएई से आया हुआ बताया था, लेकिन जांच में पता चला कि ये कराची से यूएई के रास्ते भारत लाई गई थीं। DRI का 'ऑपरेशन डीप मैनिफेस्ट' पाकिस्तान के सामान पर लगे बैन को तोड़ने की कोशिशों पर लगाम लगा रहा है।
