CJP has announced plans to protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10 if Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar does not resign. CJP convenor Abhijit Dipke stated that if Kumar fails to resign, cockroaches from across India will march to Delhi for a peaceful demonstration. The party previously protested in Mumbai against alleged irregularities in electoral rolls and the Special Intensive Revision exercise. CJP demands Kumar's resignation, freezing of the SIR process, and a new transparent mechanism for appointing Election Commissioners.

सीजेपी ने घोषणा की है कि अगर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार इस्तीफा नहीं देते हैं तो वे 10 अक्टूबर को जंतर मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करेंगे। सीजेपी संयोजक अभिजीत दीपके ने कहा कि अगर कुमार इस्तीफा देने में विफल रहते हैं, तो पूरे भारत से कॉकरोच एक शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन के लिए दिल्ली मार्च करेंगे। पार्टी ने पहले चुनावी रोल और स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) एक्सरसाइज में कथित अनियमितताओं के खिलाफ मुंबई में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया था। सीजेपी कुमार के इस्तीफे, SIR प्रक्रिया को फ्रीज करने और चुनाव आयुक्तों की नियुक्ति के लिए एक नई पारदर्शी व्यवस्था की मांग करता है।
