The post office building in Bhattiyan village near Ludhiana has been in a dilapidated state for over five years due to administrative apathy. Crumbling walls, cracked infrastructure, and a complete absence of basic sanitation facilities are impacting daily operations and staff safety. Postman Vijay stated that the unsafe conditions forced staff to relocate their seating arrangements. Despite representations to authorities and the local MLA, the building remains in disrepair, causing distress to employees and visitors alike. The Superintendent of Posts has stated they will investigate the matter.
