FDA inspected 80 sweet manufacturing and sales establishments across the state on Thursday, issuing notices to 10 units for alleged violations of food safety norms. The special inspection drive, conducted to 17, aims to ensure safe sweets for consumers during the festive season. Officials collected 125 food samples for analysis and found unhygienic conditions, lack of medical certificates for handlers, and missing licenses. Further legal action will be taken against violators of the Food Safety and Standards Act.

FDA ने गुरुवार को राज्य भर में मिठाई बनाने और बेचने वाली 80 जगहों का निरीक्षण किया और खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के कथित उल्लंघन के लिए 10 इकाइयों को नोटिस जारी किया। 17 तक चलने वाले इस विशेष निरीक्षण अभियान का उद्देश्य त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान उपभोक्ताओं के लिए सुरक्षित मिठाइयों को सुनिश्चित करना है। अधिकारियों ने विश्लेषण के लिए 125 खाद्य नमूने एकत्र किए और अस्वास्थ्यकर स्थितियां, हैंडलर के लिए मेडिकल प्रमाण पत्र की कमी और लाइसेंस गायब पाए। खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक अधिनियम के उल्लंघनकर्ताओं के खिलाफ आगे कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
