Saudi Pro League club Al Taawoun has been fined 100,000 riyals and ordered to play two home matches behind closed doors. This action follows supporters chanting the name of the late Portugal forward Diogo Jota during a match against Al Hilal. The chants were directed at Al Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves, a close friend of Jota. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced the sanctions, with Al Hilal having filed a complaint.
