India's Amit Shah Calls For Stronger BIMSTEC Cooperation Against Terrorism

Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged BIMSTEC nations to strengthen regional cooperation against terrorism, terror financing, and organized crime. Addressing the first BIMSTEC Home Ministers meeting, Shah emphasized India's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and the need for mutual trust among member states. He called for collective resolve to prevent terrorists from finding safe havens, receiving funding, or establishing training centers within the region. Shah also stressed the importance of timely sharing of actionable intelligence and better coordination to combat drug trafficking and its links to organized crime and terror funding.

आतंकवाद के खिलाफ बिम्सटेक सहयोग को मजबूत करने का अमित शाह ने किया आह्वान

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने बिम्सटेक देशों से आतंकवाद, आतंकी वित्तपोषण और संगठित अपराध के खिलाफ क्षेत्रीय सहयोग को मजबूत करने का आग्रह किया। बिम्सटेक के गृह मंत्रियों की पहली बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए, शाह ने आतंकवाद के प्रति भारत की शून्य-सहिष्णुता नीति और सदस्य देशों के बीच आपसी विश्वास की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने आतंकवादियों को क्षेत्र के भीतर सुरक्षित पनाहगाह खोजने, धन प्राप्त करने या प्रशिक्षण केंद्र स्थापित करने से रोकने के लिए सामूहिक संकल्प का आह्वान किया। शाह ने नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी और संगठित अपराध तथा आतंकी वित्तपोषण से इसके संबंधों का मुकाबला करने के लिए समय पर कार्रवाई योग्य खुफिया जानकारी साझा करने और बेहतर समन्वय के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया।
