The drive, ordered by the High Court, targeted chambers allegedly built on government land, drains, and footpaths. Lawyers protested the removal of their decades-old workplaces, demanding alternative accommodation before further demolitions. Officials have spared nine chambers after objections and are reviewing records for seven bighas of land identified for potential encroachment. This action follows previous demolitions in the area.
