Heavy rain on Saturday caused a section of the false ceiling at the Ranchi district registry office to collapse. The incident occurred in the computer cell, damaging computers and printers. Fortunately, no one was injured as staff were evacuated when the ceiling began to give way. Officials stated that the false ceiling had been opened for renovation and water seepage led to the collapse. An assessment of the equipment damage is underway, and the affected area will be inspected for safety before work resumes.
