बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के पूर्व जज आर. वी. चव्हाण ने महाराष्ट्र यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड (UCC) की विशेषज्ञ समिति से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। उन्होंने समिति के प्रश्नावली पर चिंता जताई है। चव्हाण ने युवाओं को ध्यान में रखकर, विश्वविद्यालयों और लीगल एड सेवाओं की मदद से कम से कम 10,000 जवाब इकट्ठा करने के लिए फिजिकल मीटिंग और सर्वे की वकालत की। उन्होंने कहा कि UCC को राजनीतिक एजेंडा न समझकर जागरूकता फैलाई जाए।
