Bengal STF Busts Inter-State Arms Racket, Arrests Four Operatives

STF has successfully dismantled an inter-state arms trafficking network spanning Bihar, Jharkhand, and Bengal after a 17-day operation. Four key operatives, including major suppliers from Munger, Jamui, and Hazaribag, were arrested. The STF also seized three pistols, three magazines, 24 live rounds, and Rs 3.9 lakh in cash. This operation has effectively disrupted a significant supply route for illicit weapons entering Bengal from manufacturing and supply hubs in Bihar and Jharkhand.

एसटीएफ ने 17 दिनों के ऑपरेशन के बाद बिहार, झारखंड और बंगाल में फैले एक अंतर-राज्यीय हथियार तस्करी नेटवर्क को सफलतापूर्वक खत्म कर दिया है। मुंगेर, जमुई और हजारीबाग के प्रमुख आपूर्तिकर्ताओं सहित चार मुख्य संचालकों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। एसटीएफ ने तीन पिस्तौल, तीन मैगजीन, 24 जिंदा कारतूस और 3.9 लाख रुपये नकद भी जब्त किए। इस ऑपरेशन ने बिहार और झारखंड में निर्माण और आपूर्ति हब से बंगाल में अवैध हथियारों के प्रवेश के एक महत्वपूर्ण आपूर्ति मार्ग को प्रभावी ढंग से बाधित कर दिया है।
