Pocso Case Filed Against Man For Circulating Obscene Video Of Mentally Ill Girl

Police in Kanpur have registered a Pocso case against a former rehabilitation centre employee for allegedly circulating an obscene video of a 17-year-old girl with mental illness. The girl's parents reported the incident after the video was sent to her father's phone. The accused, Vipin, reportedly obtained the video from CCTV footage to defame the centre. He allegedly used a woman's phone number, with whom he had previously worked, to send the video to the girl and guardians of other children. Police have arrested the accused and are investigating further.

कानपुर में पुलिस ने एक मानसिक रूप से बीमार 17 वर्षीय लड़की का अश्लील वीडियो कथित तौर पर फैलाने के आरोप में एक पूर्व पुनर्वास केंद्र कर्मचारी के खिलाफ पोस्को केस दर्ज किया है। लड़की के माता-पिता ने घटना की सूचना तब दी जब वीडियो उसके पिता के फोन पर भेजा गया। आरोपी, विपिन, पर आरोप है कि उसने केंद्र को बदनाम करने के लिए सीसीटीवी फुटेज से वीडियो प्राप्त किया था। उसने कथित तौर पर उस महिला के फोन नंबर का इस्तेमाल किया जिसके साथ वह पहले काम कर चुका था, ताकि वीडियो लड़की और अन्य बच्चों के अभिभावकों को भेजा जा सके। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और आगे की जांच कर रही है।
