Four individuals were killed and two injured when their car collided with a truck on the Purvanchal Expressway in Sultanpur early Wednesday. The group, returning to Deoria from Lucknow after a tennis-cricket match, was travelling at approximately 100 kmph. Police suspect the driver may have dozed off, leading to the fatal crash. Passers-by and UPEIDA personnel had to break open the car doors to rescue the occupants. Three died on the spot, while a fourth succumbed to injuries later at Ayodhya Medical College.
