Secularism Western Concept, Not Fit For India: Bhagwat

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that modern secularism is a Western concept that does not align with India's traditional values. Speaking at the 'Yuva Dharma Sansad' in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, he explained that Western secularism arose from conflicts between kings and religious authorities. Bhagwat emphasized India's historical approach of sarva-pantha-samabhava, meaning equal respect for all religions, and a holistic view of life through dharma.

आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने कहा कि आधुनिक धर्मनिरपेक्षता पश्चिमी सोच है जो भारत की पुरानी रीतियों से मेल नहीं खाती। उज्जैन में 'युवा धर्म संसद' में उन्होंने समझाया कि पश्चिमी धर्मनिरपेक्षता राजाओं और धार्मिक गुरुओं के झगड़ों से निकली है। भागवत ने भारत की 'सर्व-पंथ-समभाव' की पुरानी परंपरा पर जोर दिया, जिसका मतलब है सभी धर्मों का बराबर सम्मान और धर्म के ज़रिए जीवन को समग्रता से देखना।
