सऊदी अरब के किंग खालिद इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट, रियाद पर शनिवार को हुए मिसाइल हमले में नागरिक उड्डयन के सामान्य प्राधिकरण (GACA) के अनुसार 12 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 300 से ज़्यादा घायल हो गए। मरने वालों में चार सऊदी नागरिक और अन्य देशों के निवासी शामिल थे। कई घायल गंभीर हालत में हैं और उनका इलाज चल रहा है। यह घटना हाल के हफ्तों में एयरपोर्ट पर हुए कई हमलों के बाद हुई है, जिसके कारण संचालन अस्थायी रूप से निलंबित कर दिया गया था और उड़ानों को दूसरी जगह भेजा गया था। दूतावासों ने नागरिकों को एयरपोर्ट क्षेत्र से बचने की सलाह दी है।
