Medical Association Flags Glorification of Violence and Graft in Upcoming Film

IMA has written to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to urgently review promotional content for the Sunny Deol-starrer 'Suryaa – Ant Se Aarambh Tak'. The IMA alleges the film generalizes corruption within the medical profession and depicts violence against healthcare workers, potentially eroding public trust and endangering doctors. In a letter to Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, IMA president Dr. Anilkumar J Nayak sought corrective measures, citing risks of portraying unethical practices as representative of the entire medical fraternity.
