Radhakrishnan remarked that a Tamil individual has the potential to become Prime Minister of India in the future, emphasizing the opportunities within a democratic system. The event also saw leaders like M K Stalin and Edappadi K Palaniswami paying their respects. Separately, discussions arose regarding power supply issues in the state, with the Energy Minister addressing rejected tenders and planned fresh bids.
