Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated five major development projects in Ladakh via video conference. These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, enhance power facilities, increase water availability, and preserve heritage. The new Leh airport terminal, built at a cost of ₹650 crore, is the country's first airport terminal with geothermal heating technology. It will significantly increase the airport's passenger capacity and flight operations, boosting tourism. Other projects include the Nimmu-Padum-Darcha road, reducing travel time drastically, and the Sanok Hydroelectric Project.

पीएम मोदी ने लद्दाख में 5 विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया पर्यटन और कनेक्टिविटी को बढ़ावा मिलेगा

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से लद्दाख में पांच बड़ी विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया। इन पहलों का उद्देश्य कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार, बिजली सुविधाओं को बढ़ाना, पानी की उपलब्धता बढ़ाना और विरासत को संरक्षित करना है। ₹650 करोड़ की लागत से बना नया लेह हवाई अड्डा टर्मिनल, देश का पहला हवाई अड्डा टर्मिनल है जिसमें जियोथर्मल हीटिंग तकनीक है। इससे हवाई अड्डे की यात्री क्षमता और उड़ान संचालन में काफी वृद्धि होगी, जिससे पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। अन्य परियोजनाओं में निम्मू-पदुम-दरचा सड़क शामिल है, जो यात्रा के समय को काफी कम कर देगी, और सनोक हाइड्रोइलेक्ट्रिक प्रोजेक्ट।
