JM Financial has secured the top position in the investment banking league table for the first half of FY27, managing transactions worth Rs 75,775 crore. This surge in equity fundraising, driven by a significant increase in IPOs and QIPs, saw overall capital raised climb by 40% to nearly Rs 1.7 lakh crore. ICICI Securities and SBI Capital Markets followed JM Financial in the rankings. The number of IPOs and QIPs increased to 116 in H1 FY27 from 85 in the previous year, indicating a robust market for equity offerings.
