Pune ACB Books Retired Maharashtra Agriculture Official And Wife In Disproportionate Assets Case

ACB has registered a case against a retired deputy director of the Maharashtra agriculture department, Kiran Shamrao Jadhav, and his wife. An inquiry found Jadhav's assets to be 128.7% higher than his known income, accumulating disproportionate wealth worth ₹4.37 crore between 1994 and 2025. His wife allegedly abetted him in acquiring these assets through corrupt means. The ACB initiated the inquiry following an order from its director general, leading to the registration of the case on Monday.
