Eritrean Troops Spotted Inside Ethiopia Amidst Renewed Fighting

Witnesses have reported seeing dozens of Eritrean soldiers driving through Adigrat, a town in northern Ethiopia near the Eritrean border. This sighting comes days after Ethiopia and Eritrea severed diplomatic ties and follows the renewal of fighting between Ethiopian forces and an armed alliance. A Tigray Peace Force commander stated Eritrean forces are deliberately operating within Tigray. Eritrea's Information Minister did not deny troops crossed the border, accusing Ethiopia of fabricating a narrative.
