Barapullah-III Corridor Cuts Delhi Commute Time

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Barapullah Phase-III elevated corridor in New Delhi on Tuesday. This new corridor is expected to significantly reduce travel time between east Delhi's Mayur Vihar Phase-1 and south Delhi's AIIMS, from approximately 45 minutes to just 15 minutes. The project aims to provide signal-free connectivity and ease traffic congestion across the city. Several other infrastructure projects, including an underpass and flyover foundations, were also inaugurated or laid, collectively costing Rs 1,941 crore.
