Kerala HC Reserves Order on KPSC Challenge to Prosecution Sanction Over Planning Board Exam Irregularities

The Hindu · india

The Kerala High Court has reserved its order on a petition filed by the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) challenging the government's sanction for prosecution. This sanction was granted in connection with alleged irregularities in the Planning Board examination. The KPSC argued that the State government lacks the authority to prosecute its employees, as this power rests with the President of India. The court is considering over 180 complaints received against the commission, with three leading to police cases.
