Patiala Cleans Up: Over 13 Tonnes of Waste Removed in Mission Clean Patiala

The 'Mission Clean Patiala' initiative has successfully removed 13.7 tonnes of waste through 72 cleanliness, awareness, and plantation activities. The campaign, launched in April 2026, has involved over 50 institutions and 1,814 volunteers, planting 800 saplings. A new dashboard was inaugurated to track progress, alongside the launch of a 'Plastic-Free Lunch' campaign encouraging reduced plastic use in schools and colleges. Participating institutions will continue road-cleaning drives with quarterly performance reviews to foster sustained community responsibility for public spaces.

मिशन क्लीन पटियाला' पहल ने 72 सफाई, जागरूकता और वृक्षारोपण गतिविधियों के ज़रिए सफलतापूर्वक 13.7 टन कचरा हटाया है। अप्रैल 2026 में शुरू हुए इस अभियान में 50 से ज़्यादा संस्थाओं और 1,814 स्वयंसेवकों ने हिस्सा लिया, जिन्होंने 800 पौधे लगाए। प्रगति को ट्रैक करने के लिए एक नया डैशबोर्ड शुरू किया गया, साथ ही स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में प्लास्टिक के उपयोग को कम करने के लिए 'प्लास्टिक-फ्री लंच' अभियान भी शुरू किया गया। भाग लेने वाली संस्थाएं तिमाही प्रदर्शन समीक्षाओं के साथ सड़क-सफाई अभियान जारी रखेंगी ताकि सार्वजनिक स्थानों के लिए स्थायी सामुदायिक जिम्मेदारी को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके।
