South Railways has become strict regarding passengers causing disturbances on trains. This includes talking loudly on phone speakers, watching videos at high volume, or playing music. Such actions can lead to penalties under Section 145(2) of the Railway Act. Offenders may face a fine of up to ₹5,000 and a jail term of six months if they continue to cause nuisance after a warning. Passengers are advised to speak softly to avoid inconveniencing others. Complaints can be lodged with the TTE or via the Rail Madad app.

साउथ रेलवे ट्रेनों में यात्रियों द्वारा मचाए जाने वाले हंगामे को लेकर सख्त हो गया है। इसमें फोन स्पीकर पर जोर-जोर से बात करना, तेज आवाज में वीडियो देखना या संगीत बजाना शामिल है। रेलवे अधिनियम की धारा 145(2) के तहत ऐसी हरकतों पर जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है। चेतावनी के बाद भी हंगामा जारी रखने पर अपराधियों पर ₹5,000 तक का जुर्माना और छह महीने की जेल हो सकती है। यात्रियों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे दूसरों को असुविधा से बचाने के लिए धीरे से बात करें। टीटीई या रेल मदद ऐप के माध्यम से शिकायत दर्ज की जा सकती है।
