Congress Slams Govt Over WPI Inflation Surge

The Congress party criticized the government over rising Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation, which has remained around 10% for four consecutive months. Jairam Ramesh stated that despite Prime Minister Modi's claims of 'sab changa si' (all is well), 'sab mehenga si' (everything is expensive) is the reality for crores of families. Inflation in food, manufactured items, and fuel has increased, with adjusted wages also falling.

कांग्रेस ने बढ़ती थोक महंगाई (WPI) को लेकर सरकार पर निशाना साधा है। पिछले चार महीनों से यह करीब 10% बनी हुई है। जयराम रमेश ने कहा कि मोदी जी चाहे 'सब चंगा सी' कहें, लेकिन करोड़ों परिवारों के लिए 'सब महंगा सी' है। खाने-पीने, बने-बनाए सामान और ईंधन की महंगाई बढ़ी है, और लोगों की कमाई भी घट गई है।
