Travancore Devaswom Board Partners with Clean Kerala Company for Sabarimala Waste Management

The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) will implement a regulated system for recyclable waste at Sabarimala starting this pilgrimage season. This new initiative replaces the previous practice of auctioning scrap materials. The TDB has partnered with the Clean Kerala Company to manage waste removal from Sabarimala and Pampa. Proceeds from recyclable materials will now contribute to the Board's funds. An MoU was signed in Thiruvananthapuram, with waste removal operations set to commence shortly. The Clean Kerala Company will also handle discarded metal articles.
