Assam Couple Donates Rs 1 Crore Life Savings

Retired Assam couple Dr Pannalal Goswami and Dr Nandita Bhattacharya Goswami have donated their entire life savings of Rs 1 crore to the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University. The couple, who taught at Cotton College for 40 years, made the significant contribution on July 17.

असम के रिटायर्ड डॉक्टर दंपती, डॉ. पन्नालाल गोस्वामी और डॉ. नंदिता भट्टाचार्य गोस्वामी ने अपनी जीवन भर की कमाई, 1 करोड़ रुपये, कुमार भास्कर वर्मा संस्कृत और प्राचीन अध्ययन विश्वविद्यालय को दान कर दी है। यह दंपती, जिन्होंने कॉटन कॉलेज में 40 साल पढ़ाया, ने 17 जुलाई को यह बड़ी भेंट दी। यह दान शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक मिसाल है।
