Delhi's air quality has reached hazardous levels, with the AQI exceeding 300 in Jahangirpuri (309) and Vivek Vihar (306). Many other areas are also experiencing poor air quality, with AQI readings above 200. According to AQI standards, readings between 201-300 are 'poor' and 301-400 are 'very poor'. In response to the deteriorating conditions, Delhi has implemented GRAP 1, imposing restrictions on construction activities. Health advisories recommend caution for children, the elderly, and those with respiratory issues, suggesting avoidance of outdoor exercise and prolonged exposure.
