Chandigarh Police Register Case Over Alleged Croatia Property Fraud

The Economic Offences Wing of Chandigarh Police has registered a case against three city-based residents following allegations of fraud by four investors concerning luxury villa and agricultural land in Croatia. Investors claim irregularities in property ownership, rental income, and loans raised against the assets. The accused allegedly transferred a villa to settle dues but failed to make promised payments, while also collecting rental income and mortgaging the property. Another investor lost approximately ₹30 lakh in agricultural land investment.

चंडीगढ़ पुलिस के आर्थिक अपराध विंग ने चार निवेशकों द्वारा क्रोएशिया में लग्जरी विला और कृषि भूमि के संबंध में धोखाधड़ी के आरोपों के बाद शहर के तीन निवासियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। निवेशकों ने संपत्ति के स्वामित्व, किराये की आय और संपत्तियों के खिलाफ उठाए गए ऋणों में अनियमितताओं का दावा किया है। आरोपियों पर कथित तौर पर बकाया निपटाने के लिए एक विला हस्तांतरित करने का आरोप है, लेकिन वादे के अनुसार भुगतान करने में विफल रहे, साथ ही किराये की आय भी एकत्र की और संपत्ति को गिरवी रख दिया। एक अन्य निवेशक ने कृषि भूमि निवेश में लगभग ₹30 लाख खो दिए।
