मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट की ग्वालियर बेंच ने फैसला सुनाया है कि OBC आवेदक की क्रीमी-लेयर स्थिति सिर्फ़ माता-पिता के वेतन के आधार पर तय नहीं की जा सकती। कोर्ट ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि वे माता-पिता की सेवा स्थिति, पद श्रेणी और पदोन्नति की तारीख की जांच करके OBC जाति प्रमाण पत्र के आवेदन पर फिर से विचार करें। यह फैसला तब आया जब एक आवेदक ने अपने दावे को खारिज करने को चुनौती दी, जिसमें अधिकारियों ने उसके पिता की आय सीमा से अधिक होने का हवाला दिया था।
