Himachal Teachers Strike Against School Complex System

Thousands of primary teachers in Himachal Pradesh have launched an indefinite hunger strike in Shimla against the new School Complex System. After a 15-day foot journey, federation leaders stated the policy undermines primary education and teacher deployment. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has assured that most demands have been accepted. The teachers will continue their protest until the changes are officially notified.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में हज़ारों प्राइमरी टीचर शिमला में नई स्कूल कॉम्प्लेक्स सिस्टम के खिलाफ अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल पर बैठ गए हैं। 15 दिन की पैदल यात्रा के बाद, फेडरेशन नेताओं ने कहा कि यह नीति प्राइमरी शिक्षा और शिक्षकों की तैनाती को कमज़ोर करती है। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि ज़्यादातर मांगें मान ली गई हैं। शिक्षक तब तक प्रदर्शन जारी रखेंगे जब तक बदलावों की आधिकारिक सूचना नहीं आ जाती।
