72% of Telangana, AP Parties Fail to Disclose Finances: ADR Report

A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) revealed that 72% of registered unrecognised political parties in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh failed to disclose their financial reports for 2024-25. Out of 169 parties, 123 did not provide annual audit statements or contribution reports. Only 31 parties across both states uploaded both required documents. The report also flagged discrepancies in donation disclosures for two Telangana-based parties, where reported contributions exceeded declared total donations, raising concerns about financial accountability.

एसोसिएशन फॉर डेमोक्रेटिक रिफॉर्म्स (ADR) की एक रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश की 72% पंजीकृत अमान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक पार्टियों ने 2024-25 के लिए अपनी वित्तीय रिपोर्ट का खुलासा नहीं किया। 169 पार्टियों में से 123 ने वार्षिक ऑडिट स्टेटमेंट या योगदान रिपोर्ट जमा नहीं की। दोनों राज्यों की केवल 31 पार्टियों ने दोनों जरूरी दस्तावेज अपलोड किए। रिपोर्ट में तेलंगाना की दो पार्टियों के लिए दान के खुलासे में विसंगतियों को भी उजागर किया गया, जहां बताई गई कुल दान से अधिक योगदान की सूचना दी गई, जिससे वित्तीय जवाबदेही पर चिंताएं बढ़ गईं।
